Spiritual Projects

Swamini’s teachings and example enlightened the paths of many. Her wise counsel and joyful spirit encouraged and edified seekers locally as well as world-wide. Although she left this earth life in 2007, many still attest to the transformation that she brought and continues to bring to their lives.

Her inscribed scriptural writings have offered, "A blend of Western and Eastern spiritual guidance emanating from the one Lord of Lords, Lord of All." - Dr. SS. Sivaji, Endless Wisdom I.

Swamini's television production,"Eternity’s Pillar" stated that the program “Celebrates the ecumenical principles and Eastern philosophy and attests to the truth that the Biblical teachings of the West and the esoteric wisdom of the East are harmonious, universal and of one accord.” This program served to demonstrate the unity between the East and Western spiritual traditions.

Her devotion to Avatar, Sri Krishna, prompted her support of the television production, ‘Sri Krishna.’ "It was a  television series presented by the internationally known producer, Ramanand Sagar. The program offered spiritual inspiration and upliftment to people throughout the world.

As founder and long-term spiritual director of Sai Anantam Ashram, Swamini guided aspirants to transform their lives through disciplined practice. Her teachings brought spiritual clarity and inspiration to those who approached with sincere intent. The Ashram welcomed believers of all faiths and traditions and promoted the unity of humanity.

Music Ministry

The  exalted music that Swamini wrote and produced continues to offer healing and light to an ailing society. “The  presence of such a saint rendering glorious music to humanity changed the entire vibration of our world.”  Swami Ramananda.

Humanitarian Projects

Teaching her students to "relieve the sufferings of others", Swamini herself stood in the forefront of various service projects. Her generous donations contributed to worthy causes. As founder of the Annual John Coltrane Festival in 1983, she created a framework for young adults to develop entrepreneurial skills in YEP  (Youth Entrepreneurial Program). Young jazz musicians were allowed to showcase their talents in an annual competition. The John Coltrane Foundation later offered scholarships for youth to pursue careers in music.

Swamini additionally organized and funded an entrepreneurial program for youth in the local Los Angeles Community in collaboration with a local Christian church.

Following the Rodney King  civil unrest when food sources became limited, Swamini organized an outreach program which provided weekly food to the community.

Under Swamini's leadership, Annual World Peace Festivals were held to unite interfaith programs and uphold the human value of peace amongst all peoples.

Swamini Turiyasangitananda selflessly provided for the shelter, food, medical and physical care of many wherever she was aware of a need, especially for the elderly. She sent aid to the African countries of Tanzania and Uganda. She also supported many Native American causes.

These examples of Swamini Turiyasangitananda’s heartfelt sharing of energy, time, and resources merely skim the surface of the depths and vastness of her service. In accord with Divine Will, she humbly engaged to promote unity and healing on the planet.  The following words written by Swamini offer the divine vision of humanity's transformation and healing…

“The time is here. The call is clear. The trumpet sounds, for the healing of all nations, for the healing of the earth, for the healing of the universe. For the healing of all hearts and minds in creation.”

Swamini’s great service to humanity still reverberates in her exalted words, selfless giving, and transcendent sounds that she gifted us.
